Flushing services offered by Improving Genetics
Improving Genetics is proud to have a 0-56% conception rate when working with fresh, transferred
embryos and a 35-45% conception rate when working with frozen, thawed embryos.
Tessa super ovulates each and every cow with a combination
of hormones in order to get the most embryos possible.
Please note that your donor cows should be in excellent shape. Excessively obese or extremely underweight cattle are NOT ideal donors
or recips. Proper nutrition and overall health play big part during
the flushing procedure.
Our Flushing Rates
The cost of a typical flush is $380. There are additional fees for therapeutics or complications while flushing. Mileage will also be assessed to anything outside of a 60 mi. radius.
Freezing Services
The cost to freeze an embryo is $40 (per embryo). Improving Genetics uses Ethylene Glycol (direct transfer) or
Glycerol.
